Die Sonne scheint, die ersten heißen Tage ziehen alle ins Freie und das Schwitzen beginnt - pünktlich zur 28. Regenbogenparade.
Anlässlich dazu bringen wir ein kleines Stückchen Pride in unsere klimatisierten Kinosäle und zeigen queere Lebensentwürfe auf unseren Leinwänden:
Die Filme erzählen von einer verbotenen Liebe auf einer abgeschiedenen Insel in der Bretagne, die mit den sozialen Konventionen jener Zeit bricht (PORTRAIT DE LA JEUNE FILLE EN FEU), von BDSM im Zwischenraum der virtuellen und der physischen Welt (REGRA 34) und von einem Brief, den Paul B. Preciado an Virginia Woolf schreibt, in dem er ihr erzählt, dass ihre Romanfigur real geworden ist - Die Welt ist heute voller Orlandos (ORLANDO, MY POLITICAL BIOGRAPHY). Wir begleiten Feña, der vor kurzem mit der Einnahme von Testosteron begonnen hat, durch New York und auf eine Achterbahn der Gefühle (MUTT). Zum Abschluss begleiten wir Molly und Amy in einem Film des Genres "Teenager, die die ganze Nacht abhängen"(BOOKSMART), der perfekte Abschluss um die Regenbogenparade am Folgeabend ausklingen zu lassen.

The sun is shining, the first hot days are drawing everyone outside and the sweating begins - just in time for the 28th Rainbow Parade. To mark the occasion, we are bringing a little piece of Pride into our air-conditioned cinema halls and show queer ways of living on our screens:
The films tell of a forbidden love on a secluded island in Brittany that breaks with the social conventions of the time (PORTRAIT DE LA JEUNE FILLE EN FEU), of BDSM in the space between the virtual and physical worlds (REGRA 34) and of a letter that Paul B. Preciado writes to Virginia Woolf in which he tells her that her novel character has become real - The world is full of Orlandos today (ORLANDO, MY POLITICAL BIOGRAPHY). We accompany Feña, who has recently started taking testosterone, through New York and on a rollercoaster ride of emotions (MUTT). Finally, we join Molly and Amy in a film of the "teenagers hanging out all night" genre (BOOKSMART), the perfect finale to end the Pride.
